Ben Franklin-2
The Ben Franklin-2 is the most durable composite helmet you can buy because the color molded throughout "FYR-Glass" shell (including ridges) resists chipping, cracking and peeling far better than even Kevlar reinforced shells.

The long term result is that the Ben-2 is the most cost effective, lightweight composite traditional. It offers comfortable fit, balanced feel, low head ride and light weight of "old" traditionals but with NFPA required performance levels. You could pay a bit less, but you simply can't beat Ben-2's fit, comfort, performance, or protection.

PASSPORT/ACCOUNTABILTY LEATHER FRONTS

Full Velcro hook is perimeter stitched to thebackside of the leather and the self-adhesivehelmet mating Velcro part is supplied. NO HOLES in the shell are needed, yet interchangeability is maintained.

Leather Front includes Truck Style, art quality Scothlite title/rank tape and two or three 1 ¾” numbers (can substitute circular rank insignias). Third line is an extra charge.

Wildland Helmets

For Wildland Fire Fighting Operations, the new Wildland Front Brim and Full Brim helmets meet NFPA 1977, 1998 Edition. Both models use Thermo-FYR shells and are available with ear and eye protection for use when operating chainsaws.
