The Rescaper by Pare-Chute Inc. is an easy-to-use and safe descent device.
It uses a centrifugal braking system that automatically controls descent speed of persons or loads according to weight. Since this mechanism is wear-proof, the Rescaper always provides the same safety and performance whatever the frequency and duration of its use. Its lifeline's range can be adjusted according to need, whether to evacuate a high-rise building or descend from a variable height structure. All our Rescaper models are made of anodized aluminum, a material as strong as steel, light and resistant to corrosion and oxidation.
The Rescaper is certified by the Canadian Standard Association (CSA) in the descent device category, international norm Z 259.2.3-99. Its lifeline complies with the National Fire Protection Association standard (NFPA).
The Rescaper PC-SA-3000 is an essential addition to fire departments' rescue equipments. During a response to a fire or any kind of intervention, it allows firemen and rescuers to evacuate people faster and more easily. After the intervention, it greatly facilitates equipment recovery. This device has been designed in collaboration with fire departments.
The double-action Rescaper PC-DA-2000 is installed permanently at fixed height.
The portable Rescaper PC-SA-3500 may be installed with its strong handle on any structure supporting a 5000-pound weight.
